Freda passed away 11th february 1997. Freda was married to John who died tragically on 16th may
1970 aged forty six.
Freda & John had 7 children, six sons John, Alan, Steven, Brian, Paul and Robert and a daughter
patricia. Patricia and Robert being twins. At this time freda and her children lived in salford.
later as her children grew and started their own families freda moved to milesplatting and then
Monsall , where she lived with her partner.
Freda enjoyed spending her time at her caravan in Towyn and her apartment in Spain. She had a dry
sense of humour and a cutting tongue should you upset her.
She enjoyed a pint or three occasionally and she enjoyed a flutter on the slot machines , played
prize bingo, accumalating lots of ornaments for her caravan which she treasured especially the ones
given to her off her grandchildren.
sadly freda was diagnosed with cancer, during this time she bravely fought the hardest battle of her
life one which she eventually lost.
She died of cancer

Miss you so much
Most of my happy childhood memories are of the caravan in wales, we used to love going there in the school holidays,I remeber when you used to teach me and Stace how to play Bingo. Everytime i go to wales I go to Towyn and drive past Golden Sands i can still remember it like it was yesterday...it doesnt feel the same being there without you,I go to the cake shop that you used to take us it makes me cry,When we was kids you used to wash mine,Staceys and Beccas hair and ring it dry god that you to hurt makes us smile when we talk about it now,I love you so much wish you could be here to see Maccauley Its not fair but at least now I know you aren't suffering and are resting in peace.There are so many memories too many to mention I will always remember and love you even when Im a nana.It hurts cause I see how much my mum misses you and theres nothing I can do. It still makes me cry I dont think that will ever go away it hurts like it was yesterday,I always thought you'd be here forever.God must have needed an angel thats why he called you.Goodnight Nana Love you all the world and more xxx
many times me and pat talk about you about how you would tell us off when we were younger. You were kind to me and gave me such good advice, your pat has missed you terribly and would give anything to see you again. Our children are grown now. pats children are a real credit to her, its steven's 18th BITHDAY TODAY. Rebecca has a baby now he's gorgeous, you would love him. David is a lovely lad working hard. Stacey and Natalie are also working and are lovely girls' Infact Freda there's not one of them that you wouldnt be proud of . you where a great nanna to them and thay all love and miss you terribly. I think about you often and know that you are free from pain and resting peacefully.
